The work speaks.

Every brand shown here was built through deep partnership — not quick deliverables. Some of these relationships span a decade or more. The creative you see is the result of immersion, strategic clarity, and the kind of craft that only comes from doing this for thirty years.

  1. Attwood print ad — silhouette of horse and rider on sunlit arena footing, from the Morven Park 2020 program.

    Twelve years

    Attwood Equestrian Surfaces

Twelve years turning a chemist into the world’s most recognized footing brand.

When Attwood’s founder first approached Mary, he had a world-class product and no way into the world that needed it. Over twelve years, she architected the brand’s entire market presence, art-directed the “Performance Driven” campaign, and opened doors no ad campaign could.

  2. Fourteen years

    Harbor Sweets

Fourteen years designing an American chocolate icon’s equestrian collection.

When Harbor Sweets trusted Mary with their equestrian confection line, she didn’t just design the wrapper. She designed the chocolate. The Dark Horse molds, the Sweet Sloops packaging, fourteen years of catalogs — each piece treated with the care of a limited-edition print.

  3. Growth stage

    SmartPak

The creative engine behind equestrian’s most famous startup.

Before SmartPak became the name every equestrian knows, it was a startup with a smart idea and no brand presence. Mary built the foundation — the visual identity, the voice, the positioning — that made SmartPak feel trustworthy and essential from the start.

  4. A young rider and a grey horse in a bespoke Clothes Horse blanket, in warm afternoon light.

    Multi-year

    The Clothes Horse

Iconic imagery for a fifty-year bespoke tradition.

For over fifty years, The Clothes Horse has been handcrafting custom horse garments from their New Jersey workshop. The challenge wasn’t the product — the product was extraordinary. Mary’s “dress like you’re already famous” campaign is pure Ogilvy discipline: a single precise headline that gives the image its meaning.

    Multi-year

    Emerald Valley Natural Health

Strategic rigor for the equine supplement market.

In the supplement market, credibility is built through relationships and consistency. Mary immersed herself in the product line and the equestrian customer, then built a brand presence that matched the quality of the products — including the beloved “Merry Mashmas” holiday ad for SantaMash.

  6. The cover of the Covertside Fall 2025 Hunt Roster — three foxhounds in warm afternoon light.

    Multi-year

    Covertside / MFHA

Transforming a niche publication into a nationally recognized magazine.

Covertside was a small publication with a devoted but limited readership. Mary brought her editorial eye to every page — elevating the photography, refining the typography, reimagining the design language — until ad buyers began competing for placement. A reversal of the typical niche-magazine dynamic.
